Heat generator
Basic requirements apply to the design and operation of heat generators to ensure safe and economical operation:
- The boiler should be able to operate independently of the heat consumption. This enables smooth driving and prevents frequent pulsing
- Observe the maximum permissible flow temperature or the maximum permissible temperature difference between the flow and return at the boiler
- Uninterrupted generator running times that are as long as possible in order to avoid frequent starting and stopping. This results in gentle operation and an improvement in the annual efficiency
- Minimum return temperature, which reliably prevents the dew point from being undershot and thus corrosion and thermal stresses in the boiler
- Minimum volumetric flow rate required to ensure safe heat dissipation from the hot water boiler
